Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is a video-based, instructor led course that teaches students in a classroom setting to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.


Who Should Take This Course?

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory purposes, or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

This class is for anyone working outside of the healthcare field. Courses are ideal for teachers, counselors, lifeguards, nannies, daycare centers, personal trainers, and more. Online Learning

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. It is a blended learning course, and it is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an American Heart Association, Basic LIfe Support, or Heartsaver instructor. This course provides students with the convenience of completing the course at their own pace wherever they have access to the Internet. It includes interactive exercises and videos to engage students and provide periodic points of knowledge transference, along with audio and transcript for students who may have a hearing or visual disability, and much more!

After completing the online portion of this course, you must complete a hands-on session.
